Practical home help
The funeral home or the family handles the estate inventory (bouppteckning). We take the home: going through the film, cancelling contracts, clearing, cleaning and open sale of what you do not keep. You choose what is kept and see every step in the case.
Home help with estate inventory
As above, and we also prepare the estate inventory and file it. For the inventory that goes to Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency), you appoint two estate inventory officials (förrättningspersoner) who have no share in the estate. The film becomes the basis for the inventory, so the home can be cleared once all heirs have approved, without waiting for the inventory meeting.
Home help under an existing lawyer
The family's lawyer handles the estate inventory and the division of the estate (arvskifte). We take the home in the same way and hand the photo inventory, receipts for cancelled contracts and the final settlement to the lawyer. Clearing starts when the lawyer and all heirs have given the go-ahead.
The time varies with the estate, the family's decisions and how Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency) handles the case. You get a plan for your assignment in the app after the film.
